Commitment
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Crisis Response Company is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification.
The standard we aim for
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard most widely referenced for public websites. This is a voluntary commitment that we treat as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading per page and labeled landmarks.
- A skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus indicators throughout.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields with associated labels, clear required-field indicators, and errors announced in text rather than by color alone.
- A presence map whose regions are also available as plain text, so information is not conveyed by color or hover alone.
- Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" setting on animated content.
How we test
We combine automated accessibility scanning with manual review, including keyboard-only navigation and screen-reader testing. Automated tools alone cannot confirm accessibility, so human review is part of every significant change.
Known limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort and some areas may not yet fully conform. If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from using the site, please tell us using the details below so we can prioritize a fix.
