The Passion security team approached CRC to conduct an intelligence and security assessment for the concert after some local contacts expressed concerns regarding the event. On short notice, CRC provided a full Intelligence and Security Assessment for the “Passion Worldwide Tour 2012 Concert” in Kampala, Uganda. Due to an increased terrorist threat by Al-Shabaab in the area, the concert that had been scheduled for over 3 years as a part of an international series was recommended to be cancelled at the last minute. CRC was able to provide an accurate intelligence and security assessment and develop a new security posture in conjunction with the local government that enabled the concert series to go on.
